Meet the team

Andrew

Agility Coach

Andrew is a passionate dog agility coach who loves helping dogs and their people connect, grow, and have a great time, not only on the course, but at home as a much loved pet. With over 20 years of experience training and competing, Andrew takes a positive, supportive approach—whether you're just getting started or chasing competition goals.

Andrew started his journey in agility with Thunder, a powerhouse pup who earned his ATChC (Agility Trial Champion of Canada). These days, Andrew is training and trialing with Torch, a high-energy partner who keeps things exciting and fun.

From weave pole challenges to clean runs and everything in between, Andrew focuses on building strong foundations, smart handling, and keeping both dog and handler motivated. His coaching style is all about clear communication, steady progress, and making sure both ends of the leash enjoy the ride.

Sharon

Agility Coach

Sharon first stepped into the world of agility thanks to Shelby, her high-energy Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who was basically a red tornado with a tail. What started as a way to keep Shelby’s brain (and body!) busy quickly turned into a full-blown passion.

Lucia, a small but mighty white Havanese, was Sharon’s next agility partner—and she proved that big talent comes in small, fluffy packages. Despite her size, Lucia had no trouble keeping up with the big dogs and went on to earn her ATChC.

These days, Sharon runs with Hali, a small white mystery mix from Paws United (IFAW), who’s also earned her ATChC. Clearly, Sharon has a soft spot for dogs with big drive in small packages. With years of experience both in the ring and on the sidelines, Sharon brings a mix of solid technical skills, positive coaching, and just the right amount of “let’s laugh through the chaos” energy to her classes. She believes agility should be fun for both dog and handler—and maybe just a tiny bit addicting.

Susan

Agility Coach

Susan got her start in agility thanks to Casey, her enthusiastic Australian Shepherd who made it very clear that long walks just weren’t going to cut it. Since then, she’s been hooked. Her next Aussie, Ella, took things to the next level by earning her ATChC and teaching Susan the value of patience, teamwork, and well-timed treats.

These days, she’s working with Breaker—her young, energetic Aussie who’s keeping her humble and reminding her that progress isn’t always in a straight line (especially when there are tunnels involved). Susan brings a mix of experience, encouragement, and good humor to her coaching, with a focus on building strong, confident teams who enjoy the journey as much as the ribbons.
